Commitment to Quality

Since the doors opened in 1988, Community Support Services has been a leader in behavioral healthcare. Community Support Services is committed to providing high quality, innovative, and recovery-based services for persons living with severe and persistent mental illnesses.

The Performance Improvement team of Community Support Services works in collaboration with all agency programs and departments to support continuous quality improvement.

The leadership team of Community Support Services strives to integrate the necessary components of high quality care and continuous quality improvement.

  • Conformance with standards established by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
  • Compliance with Medicaid and Medicare Standards
  • Certification by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services

Clients are encouraged to be active in their mental health treatment. An individualized treatment plan is developed to guide the recovery process. Community Support Services welcomes family and other support person involvement.

As part of the agency’s commitment to quality, we routinely seek feedback from clients, family and other support persons, and persons who refer to Community Support Services.

Recovery Advisory Council

The Recovery Advisory Council is a collaborative effort with clients and family members to continuously improve satisfaction of services for all clients of Community Support Services.  The RAC also publishes a newsletter quarterly.
