Since 2005, Community Support Services has offered Cognitive Enhancement Therapy (CET) for persons with thought disorders (i.e. schizophrenia).  On November 19, 2015, a graduation ceremony was held for nine individuals who committed themselves to the intensive program.  The newest graduates completed a thirty-five week program in which they worked to improve their attention, memory, cognitive problem-solving and social cognition. Each graduate presented his or her graduation speech to an audience of family, friends and professional staff. Followoing graduation, each participant has the opportunity to continue working on maintaining the gains made during the group by engaging in the CET aftercare program.
