Community Support Services maintains an active internship program for students in many disciplines - clinical and support services.
If you are interested in completing an internship with Community Support Services, please apply the semester/quarter before you intend to complete the placement. For those students in technical programs (i.e. Medical Office Technology), please allow at least four weeks.
Regrettably, the agency is not always able to accommodate all interested students. The agency is committed to providing a valuable learning experience for its students. Each student is assigned to a supervisor based on the intern’s requirements for the specific program. Additionally, students are expected to attend treatment team meetings.
Interns are required to complete the agency's background check process including a drug screen. Students are also required to complete the agency's orientation process. This will be explained during your interview with the Internship Coordinator.
If you have specific questions, please contact Kimberly Meals, Director of Quality and Education, firstname.lastname@example.org.
