The Homeless Outreach and Intake Center of Summit County brings supportive services for persons experiencing homelessness under one roof. The Center offers comfortable seating, showers, and laundry facilities.
The Homeless Outreach Center is located at 111 E. Voris St. in Akron, along with the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program.
The Center serves individuals who are experiencing or at risk for homeless, have symptoms suggestive of mental illness and/or substance use disorder, and are not already in treatment. If you do not meet these criteria, our outreach workers will attempt to connect you with other agencies and services who can help you.
