Sarah Boyle, Stacie Lockett, Riajo Loftin and Heather McMillen were honored by the University of Akron, April 28, 2026, for their participation and completion of the Behavioral Health Partnership Program. BHPP is a collaboration between the Summit County ADM Board and the University of Akron. Each of these individuals is graduating in May 2026 from the University of Akron's Social Work program.

Honored students were selected from a pool of very talented and deserving individuals through an application and interview process. The BHPP program offers students enhanced support from the University's Behavioral Health Campus Coordinator with scholarship opportunities and access to various trainings, activities, and events facilitated by the ADM Board. Students participated in discussions with Aimee Wade, the executive director of the ADM board; attended the  2025 Trailblazer Awards Dinner, the regional NASW awards dinner (where the ADM board won Agency of the Year award); attended the NASW Gala; participated in the U of A's Behavioral Health Career Day; shared program information at career fairs; and were welcomed into behavioral health spaces across Summit County.

Special recognition was bestowed on Riajo Loftin with the “MSW Spirit of Social Work Award,” and Heather McMillen with the “Outstanding MSW Social Work Student Scholar Award.” Sarah, Stacie, Riajo and Heather have risen to the challenges presented to them, and have grabbed hold of every opportunity this program has offered. Community Support Services is honored to be represented by these amazing leaders in the behavioral health space.
